Medulloblastoma

I have been having a little break from sewing and my little online shops as my little brother (28) fights a brave battle with Cancer. Medulloblastoma is a rare form of brain cancer and is mostly found in children. We found out about his cancer in August 2009, his tumor was removed and he has been having radiation and chemotherapy, however 4 weeks ago he had a scheduled scan and found the tumor had returned. Steve underwent brain surgery for the second time and they removed as much tumor as possible, but his recovery from this surgery will be a much harder battle. We travel to Sydney as much as possible to spend time with Steve and my mum who has been caring for him for the last 10 months. We hope for a cure and know he has the best possible doctors in the country. Love you Steve xxx

    Sorry to hear about your brother (via google alert). We had the same shock just a couple of weeks ago with my son. We're facing quite a gruelling regime of chemo and radiotherapy over the next couple of months. Enjoying the calm between the storms just now.
