I have been wanting to make an Etsy Treasury for some time now but could never think of anything very inspiring as a theme. Then I was browsing my favourites list and reflecting on all the things I had 'hearted' as potential gifts for my brother Steve, and it hit me, a treasury inspired by the 'radness' that was Steve. So here is a link to the treasury I made, I think Steve would have liked it.

A Eulogy for my Brother xx
They say only the good die young, and nothing could be truer than in the case of Steve. We were always proud to call Steve our brother, he meant so much to each of us, all in our own special and unique ways. We remember fishing trips, Bathurst adventures, fun gigs and festivals, family celebrations, discussions about music, movies and photography and endless I.T advice, but this does little to sum Steve up. Our brother had such an amazing character. He had a crazy sense of humour that went with his cheeky smile, a unique and ever changing style and an amazing passion for music. Steve was thoughtful and generous and always a child at heart, this was well reflected in his doting admiration for his new nephew Harry, who was always able to put a smile on Steve’s face even in his last days. He was such a kind and loyal friend and touched the hearts of even those he only knew for a little while.
Steve was a pretty quiet guy most of the time. He enjoyed playing his guitar and spent endless hours on his computer, but he could also be the life and sole of any party, bringing a smile to the face of those around him with his unique sense of humour and quiet charm. He always knew how to make his own fun, turning every day into an adventure.
Steve always joked that he was the last to be told about anything in our family, but this time Steve, you are the first to know. Enjoy your endless gig in the sky, know you were truly loved, will be always missed and never forgotten. xxx

Medulloblastoma
I have been having a little break from sewing and my little online shops as my little brother (28) fights a brave battle with Cancer. Medulloblastoma is a rare form of brain cancer and is mostly found in children. We found out about his cancer in August 2009, his tumor was removed and he has been having radiation and chemotherapy, however 4 weeks ago he had a scheduled scan and found the tumor had returned. Steve underwent brain surgery for the second time and they removed as much tumor as possible, but his recovery from this surgery will be a much harder battle. We travel to Sydney as much as possible to spend time with Steve and my mum who has been caring for him for the last 10 months. We hope for a cure and know he has the best possible doctors in the country. Love you Steve xxx
